The OSU Alumni Club of Pittsburgh promotes the best interests of The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Alumni Association by providing fellowship and the furtherance of professional relationships among alumni, friends and former students. The Club also promotes and supports the mission of The Ohio State University Alumni Association, the official alumni organization of the University.
Below are examples of the activities the club engages in:
Alumni Scholars Program (ASP)
The ASP presents an opportunity for OSUACP to engage exemplary prospective OSU students from the Greater Pittsburgh area and help them financialy with college tuition through an annual scholarship application process.
Perhaps the most well-attended club event, OSUACP is committed to hosting a game watch for every football game of the OSU season. Game watches are hosted at Mullen’s on the North Shore unless otherwise announced.
Paying dues members are afforded the opportunity to purchase game tickets as they become available.
The club schedules events like holiday parties and monthly happy hours that all alumni and fans are welcome to attend with friends.
In efforts to support alumni interest in supporting their alma mater as volunteer admissions representatives in their local communities, opportunities are announced (typically in the fall) asking for representatives of the club to serve at college fairs and prospective student receptions.
